Stewart, M.D. completes the physician team. With over 50 years of combined experience in occupational and environmental medicine, Dr. King and Dr. Stewart deliver trustworthy, accessible care and medical direction for your occupational needs.

Dr. King is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He is also certified by the Medical Review Officer Certification Council. Memberships include the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, American Academy of Family Practice and the Tennessee Medical Association.  

Dr. Stewart is board certified by the American Board of Occupational Medicine and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He has served on the faculty of Vanderbilt Medical School in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. Additionally, Dr. Stewart has broad experience and expertise in providing independent medical examinations (IMEs).

Emergency Treatment Close to Your Work Site

Knoxville Medical Center is set up for emergency treatment of most injuries and ailments - all types of muscular injuries, burns, lacerations, eye trauma and more. Splints, braces, crutches, and supports are conveniently available at our office, and medications are dispensed directly to worker's compensation patients. For after-hours treatment our providers prefer Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
